Q. How long did it take Uncle Teddy to notify any body after he drove off the Chappaquidick Bridge?

A: Over 12 hours - his lawyer and not the cops, Mary Jo's parents nor NBC News.

And the problem is?????

Another irregularity: the same people who want VP Cheney's head for being involved in a hunting accident had absolutely no problem with a sitting President attempting to fix a court case against an American citizen in which he was the defendant.

Not only did they have no problem with it, they actively defended him even when it was shown conclusively that he perjured himself in a Federal Court.

Perjury? No problem.

Disbarment? No problem.

Impeachment? No problem.

The entire US Supreme Court refusing to show up for a State Of The Union address? (Forgot about that one, didn't you...) No problem.

If the SCOTUS had dissed Bush that way the press would still be discussing it.
