Rush this morning mentioned that Katrina survivors have so far gotten $240,000 per household Federal aid. Is this anywhere near the truth?
I would be more likely to suspect that $240,000 per household have been scammed by local and state officials, and that these numbers partially explain the recent price spike on vacation homes in Aspen.
