This is Mt. St. Augustine's third eruption since 1976. I caught two of them when I lived there.
Our Bichon Frise pup was born in Homer in 2001. His official AKC name is "St. Augustine's Fire". He's a pretty cool dog even if he does think he's a Labrador retriever because he lives with three of them. He thinks he's the boss. We call him "the General" even though Auggie is his given name.
