The terrorists we face do nothing to take down their own billionaire kings and dictators. Some dictators even sponsor global terrorism.
In the light of such enemies, we are at global war with terrorism. Those domestic terrorists who seek to maim and kill Americans don't do so out of grievance with our elected representatives, they serve a global agenda. And the lack of spine on the left shows that acts of terrorism directed at civilians don't phase them. John Kerry was willing to live with a certain level of domestic terrorism (as he said in one of the debates, if I recall). Keep it at a nuisance level.
The fear politicians should have is getting run out of office and possibly thrown in jail. They must be kept in check. Vigilantism is no answer.
The left has fantasies that one day a genuine socialist revolution will overthrown the establishment and they will assume control to usher in a new Utopia (that they will run).
