LOL...you'd gain weight. She's one of the few who holds the secret to not gaining weight and cooking, is my guess. Stick to being a good mother and a good wife.

The only problem is that most of the recipes I saw...don't have much of a kick. My chili can peel paint off walls, so I don't know about these. Some sound like beef stews..

DD,I've still got 2 bags in the freezer one slated for dinner on Monday.

O.K. everybody- I'm looking for some suggestions for a date to do this cook-off thing, so fire me some dates that work for you and I'll see if I can make a compromise that works for us and start the ball rolling to actually pull this off.

Isn't the rodeo in town then? Y'all need to take Dasher to sse some bullridin' and pig races.

I know the BBQ cookoff is before she'll be there (besides, humblegunner drops his camera ALL THE TIME at that) but we should show off the rodeo to our out-of-state visitors.

I've been back to there 3 times since I left in 1976: Prom,NHRA races,to see Mom on Mothers Day when she was visiting some friends.
