Rush is losing his credibility ( again )

Rush is starting to lose it again. What is he losing? his "high moral high ground".

Remember when the rushbo started calling anyone who wanted klintoon out of office "kooks". Rush stated that in late 1998: " we might as well let Klintoon finish out his term ( the 2nd one ), for what can he do in his last two years". Plenty, most of us thought. Why is rush givng up?

shortly after this, Drudge broke the Monica story and things changed with rush.

Most of us disagreed, and feared what klintoon could do in his last two years. Everything from stealing computers from the white house, as well as furniture for "their" new house in NY, to his pardoning of terrorists and Mark Rich.

We learned from our youth, the old saw:

It is not if you win, it is how you played the game.

Something else we learned was: If you buy something, and the cashier gives you the incorrect change, for this example, too much money back, you are supposed to tell them, and give them the money you should not have received back. Honesty is always the best policy.

Rush should be an example of this. Instead, he becomes like the democrats, in that winning is everything, no matter how you do that.

The recent example was on the Monday following the not-so super bowl. Not being either a steelers nor a seattle fan, i watched the game, hopefully to see a close, exciting game.

not so. The refs had their pittsburgh filters on. Seattle touchdown, oops, he could not have gotten that wide open without pushing. Throw flag. Look at replay, no pushing.

the steelers touchdown. Their QB ws downed short of the goal line. Filters on: refs- yup, that must have been a touchdown. Oh that body tackle by the seattle QB, that had to be a foul. And, the long ball to their tight end at the one, what was that? Oh! The seattle tackle must have been holding. Well, no, the pittsburg defensive end was about 1 yard offside, but that could not be called.

And so on. It was obvious top anyone who watched the game, there was something fishy going on.

Now to rush. Monday he comes in, and lambastes the seattle fans for whining e-mails, mentioning he may put a filter on his inbasket.

Then he tops it off with, " it's what ended up on the scoreboard that counts.."

A few days later, we also hear that their QB did not think he scored. He told his coach, cowhering, that, and what did cowhering do? Total lack of class- he kept the extra money, from the cashier. He could have asked for another review and told the refs what happened. No, his attitiude was, they give it to me, i will take it.

So much for his being a nice guy and ethical.

So if the demonrats pursue their power at the expense of our country, what is wrong with that? What is the difference between that and winning a tainted super bowl? Or, crowing: "it's what the final score on the board that counts."

Rush lost his credibility again and we now have to put a filter on what we hear from him.

The calls were correct. On the PI, the receiver pushed off the defender hard enough to move him back and off his feet. Even with the benefit of the push-off, the receiver still had to stretch to make the play because the QB led him too much. If not for the push-off and using the receiver as a springboard, the pass would've more then likely fallen incomplete.

The game was nearly a week ago and has passed beyond the event horizon.

Are you seriously getting this worked up by something as trivial as a football game?

That is the gayest thing I've heard all week.

I don't keep up on the football stuf. But Rush did loose his credibility back durring the Clinton years. I later thought it may be because that is about the time he got hooked on drugs. It was also the time when he became a country club Republicain. In the old days I listened to his show every day. Then he became PC and lost his punch. His last great event was "Dan's Bake Sale".

Obviously a left wing dipsh** trying to piss everyone off about Rush for one thing or another. This is not the item he should have used for his rant!

Honestly, the superbowl is a reason to trash Rush? Get real!

you and your other friends miss the whole point. it is not about the football game, it was his use of the term " what is on the scoreboard ", as his justification of the steelers winning. if the demonrats trash every good judicial candidate that goes up before them, is their actions justified, since their end goal is to win.

never. how many of rush fans get upset when someone compromises their conservatism to try to get at least something thru the system?

when you can grow up, and be trusted " for the little things ", then, "you can be trusted for the bigger things...".

what harm would it do to see an honest coach ( if there are any ) ask for a review. if the ref says, "you're right, he did not score", you have won fans amongst the refs and the viewers. now you have to go punch it in, the hard way by playing, not by fiat.

SO how many of you want the judiciary to rule by their fiat? vs, working through the legislative branch to get laws passed.

think of what you are sacrificing in rush to say "it was only a football game".

how many kids learned a bad lesson that day. it is OK to cheat, as long as you win.
