Ok, let's try again from the top:
My computer is broke! None of my Pogo.com links work ...
The links "don't work" as in: a) the following message is displayed: ______________??
b) can to Pogo.com by typing in "pogo.com" but not by clicking on the link that is on this page: ____________
and Texas Hold 'Em is calling.
Well....you shouldn't bluff so much. Somebody is gonna call eventually.
In fact my Norton 2006 has crashed and it seems any links related to security on Microsoft and Semantec don't work either
When Norton 2006 crashed, an error message appeared:
a) in a dialog box that said: _______________?
b) in an on-screen message as the progam exited.
c) in an on-screen message just before my computer locked up.
d) on a screen with a plain blue background just before my rebooted itself.
When I click on links for these URLs (http://yadayada.com), my computer:
a) ignores the fact that I clicked on anything
b) gives me an Error 404 - page not found message
c) goes to a blank page, or one that never seems to finish loading
Does anyone know what virus, worm or stupip kid-game download has caused this?
Which stupip kid-games have been downloaded to your computer in the last 4-5 days? Which emails from people you don't know have you opened attachments that didn't seem to do what was claimed (Osama captured - click for pictures, etc)
How do I fix it? I have enabled my Active-X and Javascripts (not that I know what that will do.)
Not by activating random things
This started about 4 days ago. I am running WinXP and IE5.something.
Click on the Help item on the top menu bar, then click on About Internet Explorer. It will tell you which actual version of IE5.something you have. Right-click on My Computer, located on your desk top, and a menu will pop-up. Click on Properties, and it will tell you which version of Windows XP, and which Service Packs have been installed.
Please help this techno-peasant!
There are lots of helpful people here, but they are not mind readers, and are do no posess the omniscience of Karl Rove, so you have to do your part too.

Well....you shouldn't bluff so much. Somebody is gonna call eventually. I don't usually bluff, but I am pretty good at poker.
