What they should be saying is not every novelty act like Brittney Spears, Jessica Simpson, Justine Timberlake will appeal to all 13 yr olds, some 13 yr olds will not like them.

I'm no fan of their music, but Brittney and Jessica are hardly "novelty acts". Justine, maybe, but the two girls have quite a large following in the pop music world right now. Brittney may just very well become this generations Madonna. (Not that that's an exciting thing to me, but it means something to a lot of people.)

Doubt it..Brittney's Musical career is over and she was marketed as a singer through the Mickey Mouse Club..A novelty act she was no matter who followed her..The Oriental Kid on American Idol that sang She bangs She bangs also had a following, any no talent can be famous if they are marketed correctly....

There will never be another Santana Beatles, Stones Zepplin Frampton, Bob Seeger the only talent you really see now is in Country Western Music or a Solo Singer.
