By actual measurement they are the brainiest of birds, and on subjective evidence they seem more sapient than most other living creatures.

WFB's attempt to emulate us ; ) No pushing at the door please!
It is 63, cloudy and breezy, but we have rain predicted tonight then a cold front to take us into the 20's tomorrow night. My paperwhites are about to bloom, but they are freeze hardy if it doesn't snow.
I know. I am on garlic pills and an antioxidents.....and probiotics....... But if your head hurts like mine does, you would do anything.
The snow is blinding out there now.......it is white out conditions....and it is piling up fast. Figures......it's commute time.
I take Advil for sinus headaches, odd as that sounds, and it works really well for me.
Maybe, if you present it right-tell him you want to go to get the ultimate seawater sinus wash...
The sun has been shining all day, but I doubt it got over 40.
Hubby just hauled a mess of wood in, so it will be dry when we need!
Where are our resident medicos when we need them for prescriptions???????
Testing the drugs for effectiveness and determining how much they impact our ability to do our jobs....
well, Ti is in desperate need of a prescription for a trip to the beach to clear up her sinus problems.........
MRSA in my sinuses - my biggest fear. I have had a number of patients with it. I have also seen docs on tv lately wailing on and on about stubborn sinus infections. I hate this.
I didn't get the metallic taste!
Boy, if the dr. hadn't called me today about the xray and put me back on biaxin, I would have called him....What a sinus headache. Broke out the big guns: hot picante sauce and cayanne and garlic capsules and lots of hot tea. I suspect I should have been on a 15 day dose to start with. Now I am going to have to cross my fingers that I don't have a bunch of resistant critters up there...Felt good yesterday, woke up this morning feeling sick and the headache started about 10....
Since the series didn't get it the first time, I'm a little worried. This time I'm going a bit more aggressively with things I know make my sinuses normally feel better...tea, chicken broth, red pepper and garlic. And trying to keep them moist enough and draining. And eating well, lots of green stuff.
Pain killers make me sick...I can stomach tylenol, but the NSAIDs eat my stomach.
Sometimes, the critters just don't like to go!
Twisted?
Shirley, you joust!
Looking forward to his gifted-twisted answer. (I only hope I'll understand it.)
I donut think you will have any problem getting to the root of your grey/gray problem.......
MRSA was already starting to be a problem 20 years ago, and some smart medical professionals started warning against antibiotics for every little thing, but most people didn't want to listen, so now it is worse. You can't imagine how glad I was to be able able to whisk hubby into the drive through surgery place for his hernia repair and back home less than 3 hours later so that he did not have any prolonged exposure to hospital bacteria. We both take every antioxidant known to man on a daily basis, but who knows how bad it will ultimately become?
I have a messed up left sinus from my nose having been broken several times-the last time was when the air bag broke it in that accident nearly 3 years ago, and I know a really good ENT who is also an osteopath who says it would be a pretty easy fix, but I too am afraid of getting MRSA in a sinus cavity-so I do not plan to have it repaired/unblocked unless I'm really wretched.
The cedar pollen is bothering me right now-I probably use a whole bottle of saline spray every two days when that happens.
I have to stick to non-narcotic painkillers-the others (especially those with codeine) make me puke, and they leave-as a favorite author of mine described it- "a dark taste in the mind". The prescription ibuprophen that hubby had for the hernia repair is the only non-OTC I can take without effects worse than the injury that is causing the pain.
I'm going to grill some pork chops for supper and I'm cooking some angel hair pasta with garlic and butter and fresh beets for hubby because he likes them-but I'll have extra salad because I do not like beets.
I brought in a bunch of wood, too so I won't have to burn damp wood tomorrow night when the cold front comes through.
