A male teacher who performed naked cartwheels in front of young female students during a school camp has been jailed for five months. Warren David Schneider, 37 of Brisbane, pleaded guilty in the Queensland District Court to seven counts of indecent treatment of a child under 16 years under care. He was today sentenced to 15 months' jail suspended after five months. The court was told Schneider was an art teacher at a private school in Brisbane's south when he committed a series of sexual offences during 2002 against three girls, all of whom were then in Year 7 and aged 12. Crown prosecutor Maita Aylward said during a school camp at Moreton Island in October 2002, Schneider caught two of the girls sneaking out of their tent at night before taking them to his tent where he gave them bourbon and initiated a game of "truth or dare". After the girls refused a dare to go down to a nearby beach and take their clothes off, he gave the dare to himself, Ms Aylward said. Despite it being dark at the beach they could still see he was naked as he performed cartwheels, the court heard.

Less than half a year in jail and probation finished before two. Here in the USA he would be fed to the lions for not just this but the liquoring up of the kids. (Unless he was, perhaps, in the state of Varmint.)
He'd get five minutes, if that.
If he could somehow get it treated as sensitivity to gays education, the liberals would give him a medal.
He'll never teach again and in a country of 20 million there is nowhere to hide when released from the slammer.
No, but he's a guy and the girls were girls. No homosexual sympathy for him. Although he'll get plenty of that behind bars.
Well obviously he can't handle Wild Turkey.
He could have just quit his job but chose career suicide instead.
Gotta give the girls credit.

This is a guy who gave some teenage girls booze, put the moves on them, and FAILED. Something tells me that he isn't particularly hawt.

Sounds like doing naked cartwheels was one of his more normal actions. Why was that the headline? This guy sounds pretty messed-up in the head.
Apparently the judge was of the same view. His photograph and the schools where he taught have just been shown on a major news channel. Not good advertising. He'll never live this one down.
Well if he's not hawt, at least it'll give me something to laugh at! :)
I don't think he will be doing cartwheels in jail.
