Yes, junior is starting at the tail of the field with a new engine.
Yes indeed.
If that rain get any crculation, we're not going to see any racing. It's sunny at the track, though!
You got it right; Jr drops to the back of the outside row from 20th for that engine change (guess he couldn't wait until after the Duel, when teams are allowed to change engines). Also, Chad Chaffin drops to the back of the inside row from 25th for missing the driver's meeting.
Good job keeping up with all of this...thanks.
One minute to SYE!
Rain in turn 3; we're holding.
Well, back to "HOLD"....rain in T3
Interisting from the interviews, they are using their best cars. Hey then, this is for real.
They'll be more interested in keeping them in one piece than winning the race, except for the guys who have to finish up front to get into Sunday's race.

Calling for FIVE minutes on Jr's radio.
#00 - New driver (Hermie Sadler for whoever Michael Waltrip could dredge up), new owner/team (Mike Anderson/MBA Racing for Buffy Waltrip/MWR) for this part-time team.

#11 - Denny Hamlin's in full-time for "the-driver-of-the-week".
#14 - New number (was #10), new driver (Sterling Marlin for Scott Riggs), new sponsor (Waste Management part-time for Valvoline), new team name (they assume the MB2 carried by Nemechek's team because Valvoline also bailed on that aspect), but they do have the #10 2005 owners' points to fall back on.
#15 - New driver (Paul Menard part-time for Michael Waltrip), new sponsor (Menard's for NAPA), and DEI moved the owners' points to the #1 so The Other Jr doesn't have to worry about qualifying.

#40 - New driver (David Stremme for the gone-from Ganassi Sterling Marlin), new primary sponsor (Lonestar Steakhouse replaces Coors Light for half the races).
