It WAS a "factor". Does the author deny this? 11 points. 173 yards off questionable penalties. You have to be an imbicile not to consider that a "factor".

I agree that VERY bad officiating caused the Seahawks to lose 11 points. Still, good teams win despite adversity. I agree with Holmgren that the Seahawks took the brunt of the bad calls, but disagree that that should have been the public answer. Because it sounds like whining, and had the Seahawks also held on to more passes, they still had a chance.
