May God watch over your grandmother and guide those who care for her. I work at a skilled nursing facility in central Missouri, and I would not hesitate to recommend our facility to my own relatives (and there's not any others that I've seen that I can say that about). UPDATE:

Leona is holding her own. She is responding to nurses with yes/no questions. She still has tubes and wires everywhere and lots of hurdles to get over but she is a fighter! Doc said her heart and lungs are quite strong and have even talked about the possibility of her being able to go back home with my parents if she gets stronger. We didn't expect that at all and are very encouraged by this!

Thank you all for the kind words and prayers. We were prepared for the worst and have been given a small reprieve. Again, thank you!
