As a Chiefs fan, I had no dog in that hunt. I was rooting for Pittsburgh because I like Bill Cowher. He was the best DC the Chiefs have ever had, and I was sorry to see him go. He's a great coach and he deserved a SB win. I'm glad he got a ring.
And, no, it is in no way tainted by the inept officiating. It wasn't the officials who caused Stevens to drop four passes, or allowed Parker to rip off a 75 yard run, or fall for the fake reverse when everyone on planet earth -- except the Hawks -- knew it was coming.
The officiating was bad, but it did not decide the game.
