I saw the video on Letterman. Ben stated that he did not get in. I agree with him. If you have any quotes that he has since retracted what he said on Letterman, let them be forthcoming.
He didn't get in.
Here's another one (from Seattle) Link
Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger told David Letterman on the "Late Show" Monday that he didn't think he scored on a disputed 1-yard draw in the second quarter of the Super Bowl.Roethlisberger dived for the goal line and was met by Seattle linebacker D.D. Lewis. The head linesman hesitated before signaling touchdown, and referee Bill Leavy did not overturn it on replay review. The score gave the Steelers a 7-3 lead.
"I told Coach, 'I don't think I got in,' " Roethlisberger told Letterman. "But we were getting ready to go for it on fourth down anyway, and I would have run it again. So we would have found a way to get in."
Any other evidence necessary or are you just going to ignore sources for what you heard again?

He doesn't need to "retract" anything. He is relaying his conversation that took place while the call was being reviewed. He was in the middle of the play, with perhaps the worst view of anyone in the stadium.
He is not saying here that he now believes it is not a TD. He is saying that initially he doubted it.
If you can't tell the difference, I can't help you.
