Dude, is your niece married? ----
Speaking of that, just heard an interesting piece of gab (rumor) at the Steeler media get together today,..................... Meagen Cowher (20)............... the sweet and lovely star basketball player for Princeton has found herself within the adoring eye of Ben Roethlisberger. Yoi, double yoi!
Can you imagine the Hmmmmmhaa's between coach Cowher and Ben when those dates may occur?
LOL!

Might make it a little easier to keep him once his first contract is up. Hard to make major contract demands when coach is your FIL.

and Roethlisberger DID NOT make it into the end zoneTotally BULL!
There is a post here on FR that shows very directly that the ball was over (above) the goal line before Ben was shoved back and then hit the ground.
You are apparently just another uninformed idiot.
And...............to tell you the truth................. I am sick of the stupidity!

To build on one of your paragraphs (good post BTW) I think the most glaring example of anti-Steeler bias came from Tom Jackson in the half time report. Didn't comment on any of the "controversial" calls, he was talking running game. He made the comment that the Steelers had been completely unable to establish the run and were also unable to stop Seattle's run, at the half Seattle had 3 more yards on the ground that Pitt with 1 more run, both teams were averaging 3.3 yards a carry. How in blazes that's one team unable to run and unable to stop the run I can't explain.

Nope - no money, just disgust at the officiating.
At any rate - the controversy will pass, and the Steelers will be remembered as the winners. I hope that the officiating problems will also be remembered - but in the past tense.
BTW - I call myself a butterbar-turned-Captain because that's what I was... A US Army officer that started out as the lowest form of officer and became a captain. Just a historical accuracy regarding my life, FRiend.
Have a good day.

I think the most glaring example of anti-Steeler bias came from Tom Jackson in the half time report. Didn't comment on any of the "controversial" calls, he was talking running game. I remember Chris Berman and the whole crew were in agreement that Seattle had to feel pretty good about their first half performance and should take a lot of confidence into the second half.
I was like "What game are they watching? Pittsburgh played like crap for 20 minutes and still went into the locker room with a lead."
Experts. Gotta love 'em.

It's football man. It's the biggest game of the year, and the last game with any ramifications of the year. That also makes it the last time to seriously talk football until the free agency window starts in March. Hardcore football will generally find a way to keep talking about the game until contracts expire.
