"The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said smokers ring up $1,600 more per year in medical bills than nonsmokers and they miss more days of work.

Yep, I have smoked for 25 years and have had a $144 bill for stitches and a $328 bill for an emergency room visit in those 25 years. Guess I need to smoke more huh?

I have smoked for 45 years and have not cost the taxpayers or my company one dime. Whereas my wife who doesn't smoke but is a diabetic costs them money all the time for her medication!
