Well, the spread WAS 4 points, and I understand meeting the spread doesn't cut it, you must beat it, depending on the bookie.
One of my favorite Papa Bear stories regards officials. During one Bears game the official called a plenty on them and Halas started screaming curses and insults at the referee ending with "You stink." The official picked up the ball after calling unsportsmanlike conduct on the Coach, marched off the fifteen yards and proceded to ask Halas "Do I smell better from here?"
I still do not know why they did not go for 2 when they got their touchdown.
