We need one more team owner to get to 18.

This is the revised thread. I apologize if you tried the old link. There was some apparent confusion about the league name.

If there is interest, I can create a new league after we get the 18th member of this one. If you want in, just reply to this thread saying you want in and I'll ping you to the details about the second league. We'd need a minimum of 10 for the second league.

I'm manager of the Red State Rubens. Two years ago I finished 13th out of a league of 16, and lost in the playoffs to a team whose manager, may God grant him peace, died two weeks previously. Last year was a rebiulding year. We're ready to talk smack now.

Last year in the Freeper league on Yahoo, at least two owners bailed out in the first few weeks. Really not cool to draft a shitload of good ball players and then bail on the other owners because you have a few injuries. We had open waivers and one could have easily picked up replacements.

I fought my ass of to stay out of the cellar. I had a mid season swoon due to some injuries and Cubs. I fought like hell to get above the idle teams.

I started this thread early and that might be the reason for it taking a few days for the league to fill up. So, you might have more luck in filling yours up quickly. I only had one owner decide this is a bad time for them and they dropped out, but I was able to replace them with another FReeper. Good luck.
