I think it was because they had kept the roof open that day and it was humid. Players were slipping all over the place in that game.

By the way ESPN2 is showing highlights from Super Bowl IX right now. I just saw the Tarkenton safety and I don't know. Looked like he recovered the ball at the one.

Yes, I saw that last night again. It sure was questionable.
