I loved Aikman. Too bad he's Concussion Man now. Surprisingly, he's not bad as a commentator.

This class features a bunch of great guys. Madden though, he gets on my nerves.

I don't think either Moon or Irvin deserve entry very soon. Maybe eventually, but I wish the football HOF was like baseball: one or two entries a year max.
Wright and White are really the only ones on this list that scream HOF. I don't think Carson belongs at all and the rest are questionable.

It's not a question of "if", all those listed in the article are going to the HOF. The ceremony is in August.

How can you say Michael Irvin doesn't deserve to get? If Aikmann and Smith get in why not Irvin??
I cannot see why Warren Moon got in. Jim Plunkett should get now.

Yeah, the problem with Madden, IMHO, is that all the cheesy commercials he's done overshadow his sports career.

Look, the process has been forever tainted. Bob Griese is a HOF QB. Let that sink in. Twice in his illustrious career he passed for over 2000 whole yards for the season. Brad Johnson is in the twilight of his career, played what, 9 games this year, passed for over 2000 yards. All for a team that didn't make the playoffs.
So, based on the Griese protocal, Brad Johnson gets in on the first ballot.

AAHH! The man who created the last legacy for my Cowboys gets his due. This will appease me a little until the 'boys get back to the Super Bowl.

As a lifelong Cowboys fan myself, I was glad to see Aikman finally get his due!

I think it's time let the some more Cowboys from the 60s and 70s into the HoF.

Amen to that Big Sky. I will follow them through good and bad, even though I am out here on the West Coast. I must say that as far back as I can remember my first X-mas present was a gum ball machine Cowboys ring and have been a fan ever since. I cam along when Danny White, Too-Tall and the gang were battling it out with G-bay every year.
Oh, I long for the days of old, just like I did with my California - Anaheim Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

Thinking back, I guess I really became a diehard Cowboys fan probably around 1976-77, and have maintained that loyalty as a fan ever since then, even during those years where the Cowboys have been in rebuilding mode for years. LOL
I think they're starting to put together a really good cohesive team now.

76 was about the time I got that ring and started watching them with my dad. I was 4 then and remember asking him who had the "star" on their helmets and that was "my" team. LOL
I see some hope for them if they continue to trade and draft well, but they are going to need to attract a few high caliber players that aren't over the hill or disruptive.

I became a Dallas fan in the late 70's. I'm not sure how or why since I'm from NY, and I had to take a lot of flack from the Buffalo, Jets, and Giants fans.

If ya' aint in the Big D, your gonna get grief for being a C-Boy fan. I hear that and welcome it. I just look at em like the bandwagon fans they usually are. But in your case, with the NY teams, I thought that was genetic?
LOL!

First of all, I don't think Aikman should be a first year entry, and he's borderline qualified as it is. Second, you can't just say because Aikman and Smith are or should be in, that means Irvin should be in. That so-called logic would follow with Darryl Johnston, Mark Tuine, and Nate Newton, three guys that for one reason or another won't get in.
I don't think Moon or Plunkett belong. 5 or 6 entries per year is way too many, and its diluted. That fact that Bob Hayes isn't in the Hall of Fame makes it, in my view, a fraud.

I cannot see why Warren Moon got in. How about the fact the Pro Football Hall of Fame recognized the fact Moon had a highly successful career with the Edmunton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League, where the team won FIVE consecutive Grey Cup championships while he was playing there?
