About time.
From what I heard, that bitch was getting in the way at the TDF and couldn't stand to be out of Lance's spotlight.

Didn't he leave his wife for her? I guess that was a pretty bad move.

Surprise, surprise.
I just heard a snippet of an interview last week with Crow saying that she wanted to have a baby. I think she's 44.

Gee, they are deeply in love but have decided to separate. What a surprise.

Got sick of eating Crow?

Okay, okay. Sorry! Just couldn't resist.

She's a piece of work, too. Some years ago I read a long article about how she dumped the guys who had been her ticket to fame and musical partners since the start.

I watched on Animal Planet earlier this week an interview of Ms. Crow by Linda Eder. The theme of the show was about entertainers that have horses and how the horses have changed them as well as helped them to relax from the rigors of show business. It was an interesting show.

In the segment with Ms. Crow, I noticed that she did not look at Ms. Eder very much as she answered questions. I thought she seemed to avoid direct eye contact except in a very few instances. Not sure what this means; perhaps nothing. On the other hand, I tend not to trust folks who cannot look me in the eye when they speak to me. Experience tells me they have issues.

Crow did say she bought a particular horse because she wanted Armstrong's kids to ride it.

As reported by Ted Casablancas of E!Online 1/9/06:

Woebegone word from Texas--where a lotta folks seem to be from, including Lance, the Brothers Wilson, Renée Zellweger, Liz Smith, my old high school alumna Angie Harmon, etc.--is that Lance gave Sheryl the heave-ho right before Xmas.

Talk about X not marking the spot. Heavens, how hideous.

"He was a cad," remarked one of Lance's relatives, regarding the seven-time Tour de France winner's reported dumping of glitzy rocker-babe Crow. "And Lance's family is trying to get him to change his mind; that's why [the news] hasn't gotten out yet."

I do not, at this point, know the reason for the supposed split. But let's get real. Everybody knows Mr. A., noble cancer survivor he may be, not only busted up with S.C. a time or two before, he also left his wife and young family before hooking up with Crow.

Reps for both celebs did not comment.

Oh, and also, not to rain on everybody's poo-poo parade, but remember I did predict ages ago this somewhat odd (albeit most interesting) couple would not head down the aisle together. I do remember, with piercing accuracy, those e-darts and daggers shot my way when Lance and Sheryl's engagement was announced last September.

We both have a deep love and respect for each other

What is it with celebrities that makes them to trivialize things like love? If they had a deep love for each other they wouldn't need to split up. Why aren't they just honest? Lance, along with a lot of other people, believe Cheryl is a lesbian. Cheryl can't stand being second banana to a guy on a bicycle.
