NBC last week was forced to pull its highly touted new show "The Book of Daniel" because of charges its portrayal of Jesus was blasphemous.

It was pulled because of charges its portrayal of Jesus was blasphemous? Is the author trying to imply that we live in a theocracy?

I thought THE PEOPLE decided they didn't want to watch it, and it was pulled because of poor ratings. Silly me.
