i'll bet Peyton Manning and Jake Plummer will disagree with you on that.

I hate to break it to you while your clutching your yellow towl and drinking from your beer helmet, but the steelers are not the only team in the NFL who run a 3-4 defense.

No kidding, Einstein. It is rare in the NFC. AFC teams are more used to seeing it and this familiarity didn't help Indy or Denver a lot.

The unfamiliarity and unpredictablity of LeBeau's defensive schemes will be a deciding factor.

so will be the fact the Seahawks have one of the best offensive lines in the NFL, along with a slew of pro bowl players including on offense which includes Matt Hasselbeck, Sean Alexander, Mack Strong, Walter Jones, and Steven Hutchinson.

While I will give credit that the Steelers have a very good defense, its not some magical creature that teams can't score against. Teams this year still seemed to be able to score against the unfamiliar and unpredictable LeBeau defensive scheme

Indiana 26 - Pittsburg - 7
Cincinati 38 - Pittsburg - 31
Jaguars 23 - Pittsburg - 17
San Diego 22 - Pittsburg - 24
Cleveland 21 - Pittsburg - 34
Detroit 21 - Pittsburg - 35

My guess: Steelers 24, Seahawks 21 with the winning FG scored with about two minutes to play.

Mike Ditka will invent a time machine, bring the '85 Bears to the present day, alternate drives with the Seahawks in a tag-team battle against the Steelers, and ultimately win 231-2.

Never enjoyed her singing. But at least she's from Detroit.
Aren't there better singers there that could sing instead?

I'm pulling for Seattle, although I'm at odds with the rest of my family and most of my friends.

Not sure which wires got crossed up top, but the rank of my dislike of other teams is the Cowboys, the Giants and Philly, and then the Steelers. That said, I really have no interest in Seattle, I just don't like the Steelers. Sorry.

Good Luck all, I'm hoping for a good game.

Seattle 28

Steelers 21

next year? Cincinnati Bengals (come on, Palmer) and the Washington Redskins (all hail Coach Gibbs)

:)

PITTS 31
SEA 21

Nice strategy Jeromy Stevens. Open mouth, tick off Pitts' best D lineman, now prepare to get run over by said player.
Just wondering Jerry. What kind of great year did you have that turned you into the mouthpiece. I'm surprised coach Holmgren didn't put a muzzle in your mouth.
