To: Knitting A Conundrum

Are there yarns that are just difficult to pull from the skein, or is there a trick to doing it right that I'm missing? I had good luck with Red Heart's Light and Lofty until very recently. Normally, I pull yarn from the center of the skein, but the last two skeins have totally knotted up. More time was spent untangling the yarn than knitting a scarf (well, practically, LOL!)

It is extremely frustrating.

I have that problem as well, lately. I never used to - the yarn would pull fine from the center - and now I usually have to pull a great tangled clot out of the middle and pick it apart. I think they are just not as well wound as they used to be, and I'm going to be starting them from the outside of the skein from now on. :(
