If women saw men as pieces of meat the way men view women, there would be an outcry, from men, of biblical proportion.
Women get treated with disrespect and as long as they make money off of it, they don't seem to mind. Hooter's, strip joints, prostitution, pornographic movies and magazines, it's overwhelmingly women. Most men are too smart to let themselves get treated this way. They don't try to make money off their bodies the way women do.
That's why men overwhelmingly protest at bodybuilding competitions and hate Ah-Nold.
I have an 18-year-old daughter at college. And, no, I rather she didn't work at Hooters. But if she did, I'd be upset if the cheerleading coach kicked her off the team for working at Hooters. There is nothing inherently immoral about the place, and for any university or college to claim that a student working there tarnishes the school is utterly preposterous.
The coach's husband is the head BB coach. I would suspect that he has had athletes who brought disrespect upon themselves and the school. But they wouldn't be kicked off the team for one minor transgression -- especially if the player was good.
No male athletes would ever be kicked off a team for such a ridiculous reason. This is discrimination against women!
You've got to be kidding. Either that, or you don't understand men very well. Yeah, I know soooooo many men who would be outraged if women viewed them as sex objects.

Separating actual prostitution from Hooters, etc., I think its the other way around. It's women who are too smart to pay men to wear skimpy clothes, and guys who are dumb enough to spend their money just to look at a girl they'll never have.
I think it's less about being smart and more like who'd pay to see most of US?
You appear to be ignoring the laws of supply and demand along with a great deal of "hardwired" biology in males.
Tarzan wore three piece suits too.

Once, 17 years ago, a car full of women drove by me and one of occupants yelled a comment that objectified me. (I ran after the car yelling "Yes!"). That memory is my "happy place," where I go if I am feeling down in the dumps. Always works.
ARe you actually claiming that it's just men who see the opposite sex as "pieces of meat"? You are actually saying that women never look at men that way?
You are kidding, right?
I guess that's why shows like Sex in the City and other similar women-watched shows are and have been so popular....oh wait, they all treat men like pieces of meat...
