If you had bothered to read my previous post to that you would see where I am not in favor of the idea of getting rid of any breed.

When I was a kid the neighbor 3 doors down had a German Shepherd, with German papers, that absolutely terrorized the street.........but it was not until the beast nearly tore off the face of his own kid did the guy concede the dog needed to go.

Improperly bred and/or trained dogs, regardless of breed are dangerous animals. I've had dealing with Chihuahuas that should be shot, and Rottweillers that will care for an infant. I don't broad brush entire breeds because of highlighted incidents.
