First, being "extremely smart" or "well-educated" has no correlation to this deviant and deranged behavior.
Second, what in the hell article are you reading? What in these children's sexual deviancy leads you to believe they will be "productive adults who don't feed at the government trough"? Feeding at the government trough comes in a variety of different forms -- from the drug abuser to the liberal Senators who are wealthy, educated to the wealthy, educated --yet still gutter trash-- children described in this article.
Actually, the people described in this articles are classic liberals. In fact, one could rightly call them libertines, but definitely not libertarians.
