It's terrible that this woman killed her dogs so she could shack up with her boyfriend. And it's terrible that the advice columnist is telling her she shouldn't feel guilty about it.

Are you surprised....baby butchers lie all the time to women about abortion.
To: grundle
I hope she is haunted for the rest of her sorry life.

Yeah just exchange the word "dogs" for ""unborn babies"....nothing to feel sorry about...move along. </ sarcasm>
It happens so often nobody (but us) even thinks about it any longer.

What this babe did is reprehensible but given today's morals totally expected. If only we could all go back to 1957 and find a way to head off the sixties.
Homosexual marriage, abortion on demand, kids in the way? Drown them. Tired of your mate? Get a divorce, it's all no-fault today.
Seriously, how much longer do you think God is going to put up with this?

As part of this transition, I also chose to have my two beloved chow chow dogs put to sleep.
I adored those dogs, but I justified their sacrifice to the greater good of a successful relationship.
--Why was it necessary to kill the dogs...They didn't have rabies, or bite anybody...What a waste.
To: grundle
The depths of anguish and loss make me think I got rid of them for purely selfish reasons,No, the depths of anguish and loss mean your conscience is still alive and trying to get your attention before you do something else colossally heartless.

Thank goodness she didn't have children from a previous relationship to contend with. :\

Believe it or not, my ex-wife did the same thing with my boys dogs. Her new husband has cats, and so a year ago, the dogs disappeared.

She must be a truly, truly selfish person that she would rather kill her dogs than let someone else have them. I just hope she will never have another pet.
To: grundle
