I just saw War of the Worlds last night and I can just imagine Cruise telling everyone during the filming how the "real" aliens would never behave like the ones in the movie.

I saw it, what a disappointment. I never understand why producers would want to remake a classic, then decide to screw around with it so that it's a pale copy.

My brother rented it otherwise I probably never would have seen it. It was worse than I thought it would be.

Whatever you do, don't watch either of the direct-to-video versions which came out around the same time as the Spielberg-Cruise film. They're even worse.
