Moroccan singer Samira Saeed surprised millions who attend the grand opening ceremony of the African Nations Soccer Championship at the Cairo Stadium when she presented a special song entitled "Kulna Insan" (We Are All Human), which was especially written for the event.
The song is written by Midhat Al Aden, composed by Amro Mustafa and distributed by Majid Awad.
Samira stated that the song was prepared in only three days and the whole matter was not planned in advance. A clip for the song was also filmed at Mohammad Ali Palace under the direction of "Ahmad Al Mahdi, marking their first cooperation.
The song, which is currently aired on the Arab music channel Mazzika, talks about terrorism and how people should stand together as one to fight this evil that is destroying lives and causing unrest around the world.
Samira revealed that her upcoming album will be released during the summer season and she asserted that this time there will be no more delays.
Saeed was recently mugged in the streets of Casablanca. Her handbag was stolen, which contained an expensive watch and a solitaire ring, along with her credit cards and a large sum of cash.
The singer made an official police report regarding the robbing, but until now the thief has not been caught.
I know you guys with a soft spot for pretty girls will like it :) I tried to find the video, but all I could find was her previous videos.
Pingin' my buddies.
Pretty girl. Would rather see someone like her make it big then the Brittanys and MaSluttas of the world.
More pics would be nice.
How's this?
One was good. The other, not into tripods. :)
Personally,
I greatly prefer Arabic music (especially the videos) to most of the crap on VHI or MTV.
The music is richer, costumes are prettier and the sleaze factor is almost zero.
najida, how sweet of you to keep the guys entertained...
she is very pretty.
Better?
Well,
I actually thought the article was pretty good too....
This is the third music video I know of (Two out of Jordan post wedding bombing and this one) that go after 'terrorists' specifically.
And this is in countries were artists can be banned in a heartbeat.
I think it's cool.
Is she the same one that you sent me that video of? The one that looks like CZJ?
who's Lebanese and gorgeous (but not that great a singer).
I like her on our team!!!!
