If you're going to operate on principle, at least keep the principle.

True... they've tried... but he could be Souter, Jr. for all we know.

I'll thank them if Alito behaves honorably (like Roberts has so far), but I probably still won't donate until they grow up and act like conservatives. If they had any guts, we'd probably still have a balanced budget (at least unified), and partial birth abortion would be banned in 90% of cases (100% would be best, but 90% is better than their 0% record).

I trust that the principle will have the same self correcting impact - it's called righting a wrong - spare me the lecture please - a conservative by nature is bound to the principle a liberal on the other hand is bound to avoid it - they are a pot calling the kettle black and have good cause to worry we are on to them and intended to push them back into the hole from which they climbed out of.

If conservatives are bound to principal, then I estimate we have 2, maybe 3 true conservatives serving in Congress. I also estimate that we might have 1 currently on the supreme court and only time will tell if Alito is conservative.
