Is it just my perception, or are others seeing a trend lately to portray homosexuality more as a choice than an inherent trait as was promoted 10 years ago?

I am thinking that now the homos have received a sense of social acceptance, they can shed their 'civil rights' mantra and move more to the 'social movement' phase.

It is, and always has been, about gaining acceptance so that recruiting would be easier. This is why they have worked so hard to remove the stigma and even create a negative stigma in society for opposing homosexuality. (Homophobe)

Now, they are thrusting deeply into our social fabric, telling teens that its OK to "experiment and see if you like it", and that its a choice they can make if they want.

They do this because the 1% of people who are homosexual is too thin pickings for them. They want more. They want young boys and girls to be willing to give it a shot..with them.

The promotion of this movie is about nothing more than pushing the envelope forward to portray a heterosexual "jumping the gap" and falling in love with another man as if anyone could do it. Of course, love and sex are the same thing for them.

"It is, and always has been, about gaining acceptance so that recruiting would be easier."

It goes like this:

1.) "All we want is tolerance."
Tolerance granted.

2.) "Now all we want is acceptace."
Uhhh, OK. Done.

3.) "What we need now is support".
Support? I'm not sure about that...

4.) "Really, all we need is the promotion of our lifestyle as perfectly normal"
Liberals to the rescue.

5.) "We really need to reach out to young people and encourage them to experiment with homosexuality."
No, Thanks.

For all practical purposes, we are at stage 5. This has gone WAY too far.

In the early 90's, I saw the two researchers being interviewed on TV who did the studies about the 'gay gene'. I hate to generalize but they sure both seemed gay themselves. Supposedly, these were two independent researchers who came up with the same results making the case for the 'gay gene'. It didn't ring true then but the mass media ran with it. There have been countless studies refuting the idea of the gay gene but these studies don't see the light of day except in the medical journals. It doesn't fit the agenda of the elite media.
