Is anyone else watching 24 appalled by the 'we're going to create the WMD smoking gun plot line'? Is that what why the president is such an incompetent boob, because that's how the left sees W?
They screwed up my series by with their infantile "America sucks!" crap...

This prez rolls all of the vacuous, in-decisiveness and weasel-like qualities of Bob Dole, Bill Clinton and J f'n K into one ideal bad President. They have succeeded in creating a most detestable personna.
Chill out, people. That was the story Walt told, and it's only half past noon. That doesn't necessary mean it's true. More likely just a cover story whose lameness was so apparent, the terrorists knew the NY Times crowd would eat it up with a spoon. Note how fast Walt's story changed when Jack was about to carve his eyeball out. Whaddaya know? Torture works!
I think Flight 93 re-airs tomorrow morning. Gotta set the VCR (yes, I still have that old-fashioned technology).
I managed to avoid 24 for the first several seasons, and just tuned in this month to see what all the fuss was about. The Shield is my show.
At least it wasn't panties. :-)
His motives, and the set-up for the whole series, didn't change... It was an obvious slap, too obvious. Too preachy. I didn't like it.
I wouldn't worry about it. I don't think its going to play much more of a role in the show.
We got hooked on it during one of their marathon weekends. Ignoring the obvious leftie drivel. But this is most egregious. LOL, I used to watch the Shield all the time, but I've missed it this season. Time to set the VCR for that. The addition of Forrest Whitaker (sp) is enough to draw me back to it.
I have often described 24 as the espionage version of Shield, both great shows (but that WMD BS did suck mightily!)

It's a great show.
The President is the anti-Bush. He's an indecisive wimp. The tough guys always kick a$$.
If anything, the show illustrates what would happen if we had some wimpy metrosexual as president.
