I sent this letter to him via his website. I suggest others do the same.
Dear Senator Reid:
I am writing today to request your resignation as Senate Minority Leader. I can no longer sit back and allow you continually bow to the will of the opposing party. I am not from your state, but I am a Democrat. You are the leader of all Democrats in the Senate, therefore you are my representation in the Senate as much as you represent Democrats in your own state. You are supposed to be our leader, and as leader, you should know that an overwhelming majority of all Democrats in America were against this nomination. As our representative, you should have been able to impress upon the others in our party to truly act as our delegates and vote this nominee down. As a Democrat, I am very disappointed that you could not muster the support to oppose Sam Alito, an extremist conservative, as appointment to the highest court in the nation. I had hopes that you would be able to bring this party out of the lowly state we have been mired in over the last decade. As I see that your impotent attempts have brought us once again to be the laughing stock of the nation, I am requesting your formal resignation immediately.
Thank you for your time and service.
You're not even worthy of a Viking Kitty callout.
LOL
Hi, good luck with that. Bye.
Sounds good. Should the kittens send love too?
Uh..oh...
I think that you'll find a better support base over at the DU.
You may want to put some ice on it--gonna leave a mark.
Bwahahaaaaaaaaaaaa!
you posted this at DU already.
IBTZ...BTW.

Hey prairie got another one...

Well, he was right about the "..laughing stock of the nation....." at least.
Whacked!
IBFTZ!
>:(
If he resigns, who would the mob get to run their casinos?
why the hell would we want Reid to resign?
