I always liked the Steelers clashes with the Oilers back then, Bum Phillips was great, quite a character!

Those were the days, weren't they? And yes, Bum is a Houston icon to this day and very much a part of the community.

I chatted with him once at a rodeo barbecue a few years back and he was very nice and down-to-earth.
