Cliff Harris was a terrific tackler and had the nickname "Capt Crash!" Charlie Waters was not far behind. You must have been talking about Marvin Harris and James Waters that played on the San Antonio Toros...

Too bad the "crash" took place 20 yards downfield, with the back or receiver often bouncing OFF his "hit."

Waters?? Deked way too much, hung on for dear life, and was SLOW.

These are MY memories.

If you stuck these two on any other NFL team with no pass rush and average LBs, they'd have been even MORE mediocre and beaten long ALL DAY.
