Did you see the movie Love, Actually? The scene where she's alone and finds the jewelry her husband bought for someone else (While he gave her a Joni Mitchell CD for Christmas) is absolutely priceless. YOU FEEL HER PAIN. What an actress.

She has been excellent in everything I have ever seen her play. Even Primary Colors when she was aping Her Ankleship...

Howard's End is one of my all time favorites - esp. the scene in the bedroom where she's holding in her emotion over her intended's dalliance with a former street girl. Interesting that Helena Bonham-Carter was also in the film (1992). Wonder if there was any behind-the-scenes animosity between the two.
