As an Eagles fan, I'd put him right up there with your boy, Roy Williams.  Those two, in different ways, are two of the best I've ever seen, and I've had the pleasure of watching Brian Dawkins through his prime.  Dawk is an Eagles all timer, but he's not in the league that Taylor and Williams seem headed to.

As much as you hate to see those guys tear apart your offensive game plan, you can't help but admire their ability.  Any real football fan's gotta appreciate something like that.

I'm not too sure about Roy Williams. He does seem to get beat by receivers more often than he should. The two bombs to Santana Moss in the first Redskin-Cowboy game this year is a good example. He is a very active player and seems to have a nose for the ball though.

Now that the horse collar tackle is illegal, he does seem to be a little less sure of himself tackling another player.

I agree with you on Dawkins, he is a great player - one of those that won't make the HOF but is super solid for years and the heart of a team.

I'm still miffed that the G-men took Eli when Taylor was there. We could have kept the picks. Sure, Eli will be a good one some day. However, any thug with the last name of Taylor that runs around blowing people up on the field should be on the G-men.
