Our place is just about completely flat, and with well over an acre that must be mowev, a riding mower is an absolute must.
Hubby is actually looking forward to how much tilling I am going to be needing done, because it will then be that much less that will need to be mowed.
Just the thought of the space needed for the raspberry bushes and strawberry plants I have ordered has him practically down right giddy :)
I haven't mowed the lawn since I was pregnant with the daughter and she is 21 now. My allergies went haywire that summer. The boys did it for many years, and the husband does it now. The only exercise he gets is mowing all spring, summer and fall - so I do not feel the least little bit guilty. We have a rider and a hand mower. The trim and front yard he does with the hand mower, the rest with the rider. ;)
