What is toradol-I've never heard of it, but it sounds interesting-how does it work? Hubby has prescription strength ibuprophen to take, which he had when he broke his clavicle and when he had himself "fixed"-it works really well for him at 3X per day (with food), and he didn't need it for more than 3-4 days before he went to over-the-counter Advil. He can't take the heavy duty stuff-it turns him into Mr. Hyde and he has scary hallucinations, too.

Ketorolac methomine, a NSAID, that reduces the need for more potent analgesics. Usually they give it IM right after surgery and then follow it with pills.
