The Seattle Seahawks are about to grace us with their god-awful all-seafoam green uniforms thanks to Pittsburgh's decision to wear their white jerseys. A Pittsburgh home jersey vs a Seattle road jersey would have made a much more aesthetically pleasing game to watch. A white/yellow vs all-seafoam green is going to mix like a Janet Jackson and Charlotte Church half-time show.
Why discuss this? Because its Thursday, pitchers and catchers don't report to camp for three weeks and Cowboys aren't playing in the Dallas Invitational in Detroit. Got something better? (Plus I fancy myself as a uniform czar)
Both the cowboys and Steelers need to go back to the font styles shown in this picture. I hated it when Dallas did away with the font style (Playbill?) in 1982. they finally brought it back this year for Thanksging. BTW, they need to ditch those blue jerseys they wore that day. They are Ofer in those hideous things.
Pittsburgh changed font style a year or two after SB 30. I have always thought they had one of the best looking unis in the NFL. Denver and Arizona also went to what I call the "pop route" with the font changes. But we all know it's all about bucks at your local pro shop. The Bengals has without a doubt, the worst looking unis in the league. They shoul publicly burn those things at the fifty yard line in Cincy. Those things are just wrong.
Did you try just "Mexico", or perhaps "R. Mexico"?
I would expect nothing less from a Star Fleet officer. Job well done, No. 1.
The Packers uniforms are the only "untouchable" NFL uniforms. Like the Yankees, Celtics and Canadiens uniforms in the other sports.
It's not seafoam green, it's kind of a metallic blue, and I like it better than the color of the old Seahawk uniforms. But I've always liked Pittsburgh's uniforms too. The ones I don't like are the Eagles slime-green ones - awful, compared to their old green.
And I hope the Packer faithful keeps it that way. It's a nice looking uni.
I kind of liked those old Astros unis.
Dallas may stink, but the FIVE SB trophies in their tropy case sure looks good. So does the FIVE banners hanging at Texas Stadium.
Now Seattle was 8-0 plus 2-0 in the playoffs at home, all in
blue uniforms -- 5-3 on the road.
Pittsburgh was 5-3 at home, all in black jerseys
6-2 on the road plus 3-0 in the playoffs,
mostly in white jerseys...
USA Today said that 2 of Seattle's road losses were in blue uniforms though. They did not say what Pittsburgh's record was in white or black jerseys.
Now Dallas and Washington wear white at home -- almost always -- anyone else? -- some other teams mix it up (especially hot weather cities wear white for the first half of the season and dark for the second half of the season)....so maybe they couldn't figure out what Pittsburgh's record in white uniforms was either.
Carolina does sometimes.
Have you noticed that the AFC has never won a Super Bowl played on ABC?
Super Bowl XXII - Washington Over Denver
Super Bowl XXIX - San Francisco Over San Diego
Super Bowl XXXIV - St Louis over Tennessee
Super Bowl XXXVII - Tampa Bay over Oakland
Class Warfare?
Or all of those Hall of Famers roaming around the building.

The Browns used to, but I think they've gone away from that now.
