Land O' Lakes resort attracting college kids with strip poker
Land O'Lakes, Florida - A clothing-optional Land O' Lakes resort is trying to lure college students with a strip poker tournament.
Paradise Lakes Resort owner Joe Lettelleir says he's been trying to come up with ways to attract younger people. He says he got the idea for the tournament from Kristy Lucas, an unpaid University of South Florida intern.
Fliers are being passed around campus and advertisements are in USF's student newspaper.
A USF spokeswoman says the university's administration is aware of the event and the school is not affiliated with it in any way.
The clothing optional resort was founded in 1981.
I tried to get my son through it but he's about to stop. He made it to first class. He's just not interested and hasn't been for a few years now. While I think its important I'm learning towards supporting him in something that he really wants to do.
I didn't go through the entire program. I stopped after I completed Junior Scout. From there I think I joined the school band. I'm sure you'll make the right decision in regards to your son. If he doesn't go through the entire program at least he's had the basics and that's a really good foundation to build upon.
You're an eagle scout? Wow...
Sexy, eh?
Maybe it would be if my Dad wasn't a scout leader... ;-P
Darn it. Ok, there goes those fantasies of Max the boy scout helping the hot young lady open her jar of pickles.
