Yeah, I just wish those in office could remember that we are NOT a democracy.
Prior to any election, they should all be required to read and understand the Constitution. They should have to pass a test. They should also have a thorough knowledge of the intent of the founding fathers.
Professional politicians are as useless as attorneys, meteorologists, and the IRS.

OK -- what is a republic? Does the Senate make our country's government a republic (since Senate votes are not apportioned according to population)?
