Every single person reading this story has countless numbers of 17-year-old fathers in their family trees. And 16 and 15 and 14 year olds too.

If it were a male teacher and a female student what would you say?
He went on to be very successful financially; beautiful home, lots of nice things, whopping stock portfolio, plenty of toys. He's also had a string of beautiful girlfriends over the years, but no kids, no marriage, no lasting love attachments in his life. He's 41 years old, and his life is devoid of the things that really matter in this world.
I spoke to his parents recently, and they still regret not seeing the signs when he was young. The teacher had a sprawling 200 year old home with large lawns. My friend used to go over there under the pretext of taking care of her lawns or doing small jobs around the house. His parents sensed that he had a crush on her, but since they were decent people, and he was a good son and straight A student, they never imagined that anything nefarious was going on.
From what I understand, the teacher has had a string of boy toys, some of whom have taken her for a financial ride. She, too, through her own actions, has been incapable of finding lasting love. She will, no doubt, end her years on this earth alone; I don't feel sorry for her.

I doubt if a jury will convict her; you just can't identify a victim by act.
