Wake up. It's not about the schools, its about how the parents raise their kids to respond to the enviornment around them, be it school, the mall, their homeschool co-op, their workplace, etc. Give me a 17 yr old homeschooled boy, put him in a room with a hot, aggressive 29 yr old woman and guess what the results are going to be 90% of the time?
I'm not defending public schools as being wonderful but I've seen enough homeschooled and private school kids to know that they all come away with their own set of problems caused by their educational environment.

To Maximus of Texas,
If the boy is not at a school, he is not going to be in a classroom to be "socialized" by a hot, aggressive teacher ( male or female).
So...much for the wonderful "socialization" government school defenders are claiming homeschoolers are missing out on.
