Landed on top of a big rig's cargo box?
Neat.
I once worked in a bike shop and was having a smoke on the loading dock and heard a crash like a refrigerator falling off the back of a pick up truck.
When I went back into the shop everyone was talking about a motorcycle crash out in front of the shop.
A motorcycleist hit the back of a car doing Mach?? and vaulted over the car. His bike followed and landed on him. He never even applied his brakes.
I also met a female bike courier who came in for an insurance estimate on her bike.
She was bookin' max downhill when someone opened their driver side door and she zapped it.
She took the door off it's hinges and her bike sailed through the air and destroyed a custom painting on the side of a high end rig.
Meanwhile she skidded under the rig saw the rear wheels coming up behind her, dragged her leg and skidded out from under the truck.
Her bike didn't have single part on it that wasn't broken and she came out of it with a bruise on her hip.
drove by it about 1 1/2 hours later...there he was, wrapped in a yellow blanket...could see the top o' his melon and hands....2 red streaks down the side of the rig...he musta flew 100 feet
