Wasn't he a singer? I think he had a hit song back in the 1990's, but I may be thinking of someone else.

That would be a shame if true. I would not wish this even on Sean Penn, who was once married to Madonna and has suffered enough.

As much as I dislike Sean Penn, I am not going to pick this occasion to verbally cap on him. Bad to lose family.

Condolences to the family.
It don't matter what their politics. It hurts to lose a loved one.

Isn't there a third brother who is also an actor?

Maybe Drudge will make his report after reading FR.

Last I saw of him he looked seriously overweight. This is terrible news and my thoughts are with Sean. Their dad was in the business, but I don't know if he's around anymore.

He was great in Resivoir Dogs, not a bad actor.

He will be missed and his talents will be missed as well.
I'm not a religious man, so I won't offer prayers to the family. In fact, on any normal day, I'd like to knock Sean Penn's teeth down his throat. But on this day, my heart and thoughts are with Sean and the rest of Chris' love ones. It brings a tear to my eye, as merely an observer, to think that Chris Penn is gone for good. I can only imagine what it must be like for people that knew and loved him.
To: All
He was in two movies that will be released this year.

I remember Chris Penn most of all from "Footloose".

Wow
Prayers for the family.
I may not care for Sean Penn's politics or antics, but losing a son and brother is a painful thing for anyone.
May God comfort them and ease their sorrow.
