For a rapper he is actually quite talented. And his production skills are even better than that. He is not Rick Rubin but he is certainly better than most.

Doesn't mean he isn't an idiot, just that he is not without talent. Jesus Walks and Gold Digger are both very catchy songs. And as he says in Jesus Walks it is very interesting to be in a club with everyone singing "Jesus Walks".
