Mucinex is good, too. It's the same medicine as Robitussin (guafennisain sp?) but in pill form; 600 mg per pill OTC. My allergist recommends it in higher doses like that for sinus problems. I thought it was just for chest congestion but he told me that at those doses, it helps clear out sinuses, too. You'll want to see if you can get a store brand, like Kinneys, because Mucinex is way overpriced for an old, safe medicine like it is. Putting it in pill form does not constitute new drug development in my book.
